The Before & After - My Story
There were two times in my life when I realized how often I had been abandoning myself. One was standing in the kitchen of a small apartment during lockdown, trying to decide whether to go back to a man I loved who had betrayed me. My body felt anxious and tight, but my mind kept telling me it would be easier than starting over alone. That was the moment I saw the pattern clearly. I kept choosing relationships that required me to leave myself behind. That was when I began developing a practical form of spirituality that helped me trust myself and make clear decisions in real life. It was not about more insight or more healing. It was about building identity and learning to lead myself, especially when things felt uncertain. That process is what eventually reshaped my life. I stopped dating, clarified my values, and committed to becoming the woman who could hold the life I actually wanted.
The second time came when my body forced the lesson deeper. After meeting the man who is now my husband, I pushed myself to be perfect until my system collapsed into eight weeks of constant panic. What changed everything was not another healing method. It was learning to listen to myself and respond differently. I rebuilt my life from that place, and today I live with a level of self-trust and grounded certainty I did not have before.
